Equinix Celebrates 10 Years Since IPO by Ringing Opening Bell at NASDAQ

Head of the colocation and interconnection service provider Equinix rang the opening bell at Nasdaq on 11 August, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the company’s shares being listed on one of the largest US stock exchanges. Equinix President and CEO Steve Smith, who kicked off the trading day, said the company’s ability to execute to plan has allowed its clients to expand their offerings, a value reflected in Equinix’s own growth.

According to a news release, the data center provider is on target to exceed $1bn in revenue in 2010, having recently completed the 30th consecutive quarter of growth.
